Maharajapuram Santhanam is always my favorite musician. I give first preference. Alas he passed away in a road accident. It is a mystery why the Lord made that way. His voice is sweet and his gnanam in karnatic music is great. Actually I bought a record number of cassettes those days and then cds at a later period. [Now-a-days the computer provides immeasure help to hear his music. He was a gift given by the Lord. All credit goes to the great musician....Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer, his father. He became a model for many musician to emulate.
